I went on a private city tour the first day and visited areas near Bangkok on the 2nd day - really flexible (we discussed via email before hand what the two days would consist of, which we reevaluated each day), knowledgeable, and friendly. This was a great intro for me to Bangkok on my first visit to Thailand.

The full name of the lady is Aom Jittaluck Keorasame. The time with her is one of our most pleasant memories of our easter holidays. We decided to have a guide because we hoped for a closer insight. You can do the touristic hotspots easely on your own, but knowing more about habits, traditions and culture is a different thing.... More

Everything about this tour was excellent - starting from the timely and prompt communications prior, the tour itself and the wrap up after. Our guide Mr Andy was so easy to talk to, and the day with him definately made it so easy for us to dive into Bangkok and Thai life. Highly recommended!

Thim Thim made contact the night before the tour to check all was ok which was very reassuring. She also arrived on time at the hotel and we left promptly in a very smart mini-van which was for our sole use. Little touches like bottles of cold water, cool towels and small gift made the air conditioned transfer to Maekon... More

We had a very interesting guide that most certainly showed us the real Bangkok. She was very helpful, coming the night before to check our requirements, even though this had been thoroughly discussed by email. She kept a list of the money we had spent and indicated how much thihs would be as options throughout the day. She was extremely... More

We booked Mr Alex for a day tour of Bridge over River Kwai with Elephant ride and the day was fantastic. Mr Alex knew lots of facts, took the best photos, very helpful and friendly. Our driver made us feel very safe, it was a long drive but very comfortable with constant supply of water and snacks. Would definitely use... More

We booked a trip to the railway market, floating market, royal palace and temples. We received an email the night before to say that our tour guide was Mr Tao and we would be collected at our hotel at 7am. As a result of our early morning start we curtailed the previous nights activities at koh san road and headed... More

We booked Ms Jeab for a one day tour of Bangkok and she was amazing! She knew lots of facts and she knew all the best places to get photos at the Grand Palace. We could not have done as much as we did with Ms Jeab on our own. Having the AC van pick us up along the way... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
