- Haruto AsahiJapan5 contributionsThe first time arrivedWe arrived there by riverboat. It was quite modern and resembled a theme park. Lots of orchestrated music like you would hear at Universal Studios or Disneyland. But the shops were not so interesting for us. Lots of cheap tourist souvenirs and over priced. Most of the restaurants had menus that were also quite expensive for us. We ended up eating at a small restaurant booth that had Pad Thai and other less expensive foods.Visited September 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 23 September 2023
- JuzASgKidSingapore, Singapore67 contributionsTHE IconSiam..Only one word can describe it. HUMUNGOUS. It's like maybe 3-4 Vivocitys in Singapore combined or even much more than that. Most favourite are the food levels and basement and the restaurant levels above. Please do not think that there isn't any affordable food in this luxury mall because there actually is. (Think it's on the same level as the 'floating' food stalls level). Did not really explore the luxury retail level. Also had time to explore the Siam Takashimaya. Also a delight. Pity I forgot to explore the Siam Takashimaya food area. Miss that out. Absolutely loved the Starbucks Reserve at Level 7 and the river view from there is very awesome.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 30 October 2023
- TripleOg336Irvington, New Jersey40 contributionsI'm not a mall person, but loved this mall. This mall has alot of something for anybody. Food aplenty, rooftop restaurant, stores galore, dinner boats in the back. Discovering things at the mall kept coming, there was also a floating market.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 18 November 2023
- RosliSydney, Australia1,812 contributionsUnimpressedI know people rave about this Mall but it leaves me cold. Yes, it has a great Food Hall ( with very limited seating) but other than that it doesn’t appeal. I first visited when it opened in 2018 and it was interesting. But now I only consider it an upmarket tourist trap.Visited December 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 9 December 2023
- Jay CShanghai, China29 contributionsBest mall Ive ever been to in my travels! The mall is gigantic and certain sections are just unique . I would say the first two floors make you feel like your in a market . The middle floors up to 5 is like a normal modern mall. The top floors are beautiful because it is basically the food court and they have a giant waterfall in the middle. Definitely a must-see mall , then take the ferry and go somewhere else . Loved our experience there.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 24 December 2023

A shame we could not book in for the fireworks but we had a great view from our hotel on the other side. This mall must be in the world’s top 5 . The free boat shuttle from Taksin Pier was fun and staff really did their best to help. Welldone IconSiam.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 31 December 2023

The Outdoor Deck is the perfect spot to unwind and prepare for the mesmerizing Multimedia Water Feature Show. It’s the best of the BEST… amazing finds and the absolute BEST Market I’ve ever seen!!! Wide range of things to buy price wise, and plenty of entertainment by the gorgeous riverfront. One of the newest shopping malls in Bangkok. Super big and plenty to see. Wear comfortable shoes!
Go to IconSiam via ferry, so that you can have a good view of the iconic architecture from the Chao Phraya river!
First, we tooK BTS to Saphan Taksin on the Silom Line (dark green line), which was the station just before the BTS crossed the river. After alighting, we headed to Exit 2 (initially, my thought was to “follow the crowd”, but unfortunately, everyone was split in where they were heading lol) which led to the Sathorn Pier.
Thankfully, there were staff carrying signs for IconSiam herding us to the right queue. However, there were just those few fingers over there and signs were put up for which pier was used for which ferry. That being said, the staff’s assistance did help us to quickly reach the pier.
The wait for the ferry was about 10 minutes.
Take the left side of the ferry to have a good view of IconSiam as you are approaching it!

If you are going to visit a mall in Bangkong make sure to stop by this place. This is definitely a high-end mall, they even have car dealerships inside the mall to include Porsche. Hang around the front and watch the water fountain show. It's no Burj Khalifa fountain show by any means but it's good enough to pass time. Look across the river and you might see Leslie Chow doing his thing at the Lebua Hotel and Sky Bar. Just don't F*ck on him cause he will definitely F*ck on you.

Sorry Dubai, but this place outranks you by far because it is not cold and all steel and marble like Dubai. This is really fun. The bottom floor is full of street food stands and souvenirs and there are very chique restaurants too. Then you have the top floors with every brand shop you can think of. The river boats stop at the Iconsiam too. We ate street food there often and once went to a more fancy restaurant. All great and the shopping was excellent too. They have a free shuttle bus that drops you off at the Thonburi Sky train station too.

A visit to Bangkok must make a trip to Icon Siam, a contemporary shopping mall for all ages. The location is a bit far from most hotels but getting a grab is easy to travel to and back. The basement is the main attraction, a master show piece with eateries and performances. Other floors are shops while restaurants are on upper floors. Found that they tried to put too many features on each floor, that gave the feeling of uneasiness to move around. Beautiful view of the river and fountains. Can spend a day with the family.

I have been to this mall quite a few times, but i must admit that I prefer other malls than this one. This is too big and confusing, - and very high-end! During the last year we have tried several times to visit the museum on the 8th floor, and there is written on the information signs that the museum is on the 8th floor but so far it has been closed every single time we have been here, and the staff in the information desk seem that they have never heard about the museum. Also the staff on the information desk seem to understand quite limited English.
If one does not live close to the river, it is not worth to go here if one wants to go shopping. I find other shopping malls with just as good shopping and much more convenient access.

Take the free shuttle from Saphan Taksin metro station, and be amazed by the water/ music display at 8 pm and 9 30 pm
It's like fireworks, free, original and breath taking.
We visited this particular mall because the Japanese Takashimaya 7 floors shop was located in this brand new stunning river building.
Visit the ground floor and basement for spectacular Thai design ideas, enjoy the great taste of decor: it's artistically done, showcasing textile, ceramic, artisans skills of Thailand.
Spend hours there, enjoy drinks and food too, an overall experience not to be missed.

Perhaps at the end of a fun day touring the city you need a fun activity or some good eats..... well
Don’t look any further than a trip to ICONSIAM! As the ferry pulls up to the main entrance (yes you take a taxi or a tuktuk to the pier and then a ICONSIAM ferry to the mall) you are immediately greeted with bright lights, fountains and brilliant sculptures!! My teens and I were slacked jawed as we took it all in. Be sure to visit the food courts, the Sook markets on the ground floor and the crazy cool new Apple store. It’s like an adult Disneyland and Las Vegas had a baby!!

We stopped by to check it out on a very warm day. We ended up spending 6 hours there. My recommendation are the 1st, the 5th and 6th. The 1st floor has a big Thai street-food market that imitates a floating market and village. It's so much fun, and the price is not bad, considering it's in a high-end mall) . The 5th floor has IconCraft, which sell beautiful Crafts (and packaged food), some from a non-profit orgs. (A shout out to Potjana for all the info!) . and the 6th floor has a waterfall from the ceiling, surrounded by a garden and restaurants with all kinds of food you can imagine!.

We are not the family that would ever visit a shopping mall while on holiday but for IconSiam we made the exception. We’d floated past it many times on the ferry and agreed it would be worth the trip just for the magnificent fountains and lighting alone.
We were not disappointed. The place is so very beautiful. We looked around the high end shops including Gucci and Tiffany’s, enjoyed excellent coffee and browsed the World Press Photography exhibition on the 8th floor.
The views are amazing out the magnificent windows. Bangkok and the river are laid out before you and as the sun sets you have front row seats.
Definitely worth a visit even if you don’t like shopping. Just watch the ferry times as they don’t run late.

We enjoy visiting Iconsiam mall which is only about 1 year old now. It is large and opulent experience featuring many of the brand name stores you would expect plus an eclectic and endemic food stand experience in the ground floor which adds to the unique experience. It is colorful, impressive, and just fun to walk and look around at the spender of this place. The only thing I don't like is how inaccessible this place is.. you can only take a boat and you must wait for a long time sometimes in order to take a boat to or from this place. But in some ways this simply adds to the charm and uniqueness of this place. We love spending time here on the weekends.

I have a small dog 3 kg weight can I carry my pet in the carry bag inside the icon Siam mall..pls tell. Thanks 🙏🏻

I'm pretty sure I've seen dogs on their owners' laps. I saw people with dogs in several shopping centers, it seems to me that it is an accepted practice in Thailand. At the Samui Center (Koh Samui) there are even cars at the entrance to transport pets inside.

It's really easy. Take the BTS (train) from On Nut to Siam (interchange) and switch to the other line from Siam to Saphan Taksin. Once you reach Saphan Taksin, hop onto the FREE ferry to ICON which is located on the other side of the Chao Phraya River..

I haven't the faintest idea. No clue at all. But once you get to Bangkok, the people are so friendly and nice and helpful. I do know that they have shuttle buses and shuttle boats to the shopping mall. Just ask.
