The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

Sight to behold
Best view in Bangkok for sure. Worth the visit. Don’t miss out. Book in advance and skip the line. Worth the extra cost. Love the place.

Best Views of Bangkok
Feb. 2021
Great view -- went went up in December, but because the govt doesn't like people, and they are clearly not doing anything about the poor air quality, it wasn't as clear as it SHOULD be, but still fun and the kids I was with had a good time. Elevator ride up is not to be missed!

Great views of Bangkok
You can get some fantastic views of Bangkok. We visited just before sunset so we were able to get some lovely photos.
There is a glass floor, but you're not allowed to take your bag on so they all have to be left piled up together. I wasn't comfortable leaving my purse, phone and other items unattended so I didn't go on the floor.

Absolutely amazing views
Feb. 2020 • Friends
During my holidays in Bangkok in December 2019 I had visited King Power Mahanakhon complex. I was staying at Novotel Bangkok Silom Road hotel and this magnificent tall building was located very close. I had booked tickets through Klook priced at 1800 rupees for the viewing area on 76 floor and the skywalk at rooftop. The views from the roof top were absolutely mesmerizing. You can get a bird eye view of the city and the beautiful Chao Phraya river. On the exit we walked through a 3 floors mall selling international branded products.

Another One of Many King Power Stores
Oct. 2020
We have seen so many of the King Power stores all over Bangkok and even many in the airports. They all offer much of the same items and clothing as well. For us it is just another duplication of Outlet Mall stores offering many duplicated brand name items that are very expensive.

Many Covid 'Discounts', in Bangkok's 'Tallest' Attraction
Aug. 2020
Many 'Covid' Discounts, in Bangkok's 'Tallest' attraction.

King Power Mahanakhon is easily one of the most exciting attractions in town, especially the amazing 360 degree- view of the city, from the open-air deck on the 78 th floor, not to forget the surreal walk on the glass section, with the city directly underneath you! I was impressed by the extensive Covid 19 measures- hand sanitisers at every point, social distancing markings at every level, including the top observatory deck, disinfectant mat, UV machine for hand bags.

Their uniquely designedSky Bar restaurant has Set-Lunches on week-days (999B+)and A la carte dinners on the weekends, including a Seafood Platter.

It was also good to hear that the 'King Power Mall' is open for domestic visitors, and not just for travellers, like before (due to the lack of international tourists).

They have huge Promotions, on week-days ( Mondays,Tuesdays,Thursdays), and other discounts for Kids and Seniors.

For the upcoming long week-end, they are offering free access to the Mahanakhon Skywalk, to adults above the age of 60 ,and youngsters below 18 , with every purchase of an 880B ticket.

Its a must do experience.
Overcame my own fears and paid a visit.
From the elevator ride to the views from the top 360° bangkok and beyond.
The Skywalk was amazing, butterflies and legs like jelly all but disappeared once both feet were on the glass.
The fresh air, clear skies and bangkok below your feet amazing.

Amazing experience
Loved the views and whole experience of the skywalk. Video in the elevator was a first and loved it. What I didn’t like was at the end of the experience when you are ready to leave you are let out on 4th floor and forced to go through a maze of shopping mall. Also, made to leave my water bottle at entrance, but no source of water up top in the hot Bangkok sun. After pleading I am elderly and sick the sold me a 10 baht bottle of water for 100 baht. Worst price gouging I’ve ever seen.
