I never thought OTK will be close to the photos I had seen in reviews, but the experience exceeded expectations!. We got to Bangkok early and the hotel room wasn't ready yet so we decided to get an Uber. About B100 from Central area. The market was so clean...no flies, no odor, no messy water on the floor. The food... More

Location : next to chaktucak market, self driving with plenty of car park. Food : local hawker food , slightly higher price compare outside thai street. but taste good. Royale Thai project shop selling organic vegetables , clean and neat medium class Thal local market. price all higher then the local market.

I didn't have a good experience here. Food was very difficult to order. Very hard to find a place to sit down and no eating utensils!? Great place for locals to get fresh premium fruits and vegetables. Not coming here again.

OTK has been around for long time but just got recognized as World's 4th Best Fresh Market early this year. For many Bangkok's visitors going to weekend market (JJ - Jatujak) which is a much see open market in Bangkok, should find time to visit OTK market as well since it is a 5 min walking distant. At OTK, you... More

I visited this market after Chatuchak and I must say it's one of the cleanest markets I've visited. There is a vast array of foods and when I arrived at 10/11 was not overly busy for a Saturday. Here you can purchase snacks to seafood and even eat some of the freshly cooked food if you are hungry. Also, a... More

We usually go to OTK for off-seasonal fruits and eat at Samran restaurant. We also like deserts. The prices are mid-range.

Making my way to OTK Market with my family was easy. We took the BTS from Siam Station to Saphan Khwai Station and walked using Googlemap. It wasn't until we were about to leave that we realized there was an underground trian station Kamphaeng Phet Station just beside the Or Tor Kor Market as well. But it was too late... More

We went back to Bangkok so that we can go to this market again. Great fruit selections. Durian on the pricy side but with different types to choose from. Go early and go hungry. Don't miss the food court. So many great food there and reasonable price.

I always like going to this market because I believe this is the best fresh food market in Bangkok (Otoko is ranked the 4th best fresh marked in the world by a famous travel guide). It is said that all fresh food from Thailand is distributed through this market from vegetables, fresh and dried fruits, fresh meat and seafood to... More

Was there to shop for food on recommendation of a Thai friend and another Singaporean foodie. Great place to buy salted fish, durian cakes, mangoes, pork/fish skin, fruits etc at reasonable prices. They even have fresh seafood and cooked food stalls.

Staying in Chatuchak

Neighbourhood Profile
Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it, Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for a good price. After a day of shopping and strolling around, the lush green lanes of Chatuchak Park are a welcome relief.
