We took the gondola to the top (Maokong) and walked down through mostly slight down incline to the next stop on the gondola (Zhinan Temple). It was a long but beautiful walk through tea plantation with very few people and almost no traffic. We visited...More

I love the view of Taipei 101 from the top of the Maokong Mountain. Very scenic. There are tons of restaurants and cafes up there, but I prefer the street food. It is accessible via the exhilarating Maokong Gondola.

The ride was okay... I mean, it's a normal cable car, but for the experience, I guess this is a must. When I went there, it was raining and perhaps that's why my review isn't exactly good because I didn't do anything much. So yeah......More

For people who are okay with heights it would be great, but not for people like me. Took this from the Taipei zoo and after the 2nd stop I couldn't handle it. But other people would find it a good attraction. Its not expensive and...More

If not scared of the hights then highly recommend the Crystal Gondala. These haave glass bottomed floors so you can see the tree tops directly underneath. Great value and a good extra to do after visiting the Taipei Zoo.

Taipei Zoo and the Maokong Gondola are worth doing and great value. I would recommend the glass bottomed Gondola to give more impressive views below your feet of the tree tops and terrain. Wait time for the glass... More
