If you've ever been to any other geothermal area in the world don't bother going! Small area to soak your feet for 5 minutes with 100 other people in a concrete vat.

Good area with many various options for hotsprings, be it hourly rates room or staying over at one of the hotels. Hotsprings is always a good idea during winter in taipei!

We went here because it was the nearest from Taipei... it was alright but not our best decision for this Taiwan trip. The area is nice for photos though and to have a cuppa.

These springs are a recognized tourist attraction few miles away from the city centre of Taipei. I found them a little bit overrated and crowded.

What a lovely place to take a welcome break from shopping and walking!! One could stay for an hour just to enjoy the hot spring or days on end. A must visit!!
