When one talks about the Taiwan night markets, Shilin and Raohe would arguably have the easiest recall. Most tourists and travel blogs can’t help but rave about the amazingly cheap finds in food, fashion, and everything in between, in these two shopping havens. However, due to their popularity, people really come in droves.  Fortunately, we learned about Ning Xia Road... More

This is one of the smaller night markets that has much of what you'll see in other night markets, but there seemed to be a stronger selection of seafood. This includes several carts offering grilled seafood, deep fried seafood, and the one we tried, stuffed and deep fried squid (delicious). The carts are arranged in two rows in the middle... More

This is like any other night market.. more food stalls compared to Shida.. no shopping here.. u can play some old school games here at almost the end of the stretch. Pretty crowded. It is body to body kind. But all good. Worth a visit. Arrived here by car..

More

I don't think I will go back again, comparing to a few night markets , this is very small. The eating places are constrained and I wanted to have my dinner at the last stall selling thick fish soup and fried bee hoon, the stall holder was not friendly as my children had their dinner and we were told that... Another of several great night markets in Taipei. To get there, I took the MRT red line to Shuanglian. On exiting Shuanglian Station’s exit #1, I turned left and walked about 500 metres along Minsheng Road to reach Ningxia Night Market. The market takes up almost one block of the Ningxia Road, with a double row of stalls that almost... More

One of the well-known food street in Taipei. Many restaurants and stalls serving wide variety of local delicacies, specialty food, desserts. It is crowded with locals and tourists. Try out some of the popular food such as fried oysters, sesame chicken, minced pork rice, yummy fried taro, etc.

This is more of a local market entirely focused on food. Great variety of different foods from everyday food to stinky tofu, duck heads and intestines of sorts. Great fun.

This market is certainly not as large and touristy as some of the other night markets (Shih-Lin, Raohe). However there is still plenty to see, eat and do. There's a good variety of food stalls and it gets quite busy even on weeknights.
