You come out of the fastest lift in the world and into the indoor observatory area. Get the free commentary device. Great views of the city. The outdoor observatory area was opened when we were there. Nice to have a look too but it was a bit awkward taking photos as there were like steel bars that obscured the view... More

Chinese opera. The evening we attended there was a musician in the lobby and we viewed several actors applying their make-up and costume. It was a nice bonus to the evening. The performance and the acrobatics were exciting.

It is a very well oiled machine. We thought there would be very busy on a weekend but it was totally fine, didnt feel claustrophobic like other observatory towers elsewhere. Suggest you go at lunchtime when most people are eating.

It is a good way to see the traditional performing Arts at Taipei Eye with Drum and Lion Dance show and followed by a short performance from Peking Opera Artists (Only on Saturday's). It is recommendable venue when you are in Taipei.

If you have not taken in the Chinese Opera experience this is an excellent one. Its short in duration but very well done and a good value for the money.

We saw "The Legend of Lazy Lady and Five Elements lion." The staff was so warm and welcoming. We actually reserved our tickets a few days before the show by going online in our hotel room. We picked up our tickets there and got there early as the website advised since the seating is first come first serve. The show... More

We watched the Saturday performance which includes the performance by Yuan-Xiang Aboriginal Dance Group and a Peking Opera performance. Extremely cheap by western standard. Very entertaining and memorable. Watch this before you go the night market.

Entertaining and cheap, I had fun. A good diversion if you have nothing left to do in the city. Lots of screaming kids as usual and the parents do not care.

We took my mom and sister here after hearing good reviews from our friends. We were very happy with the experience. Before the show you can interact with some of the performers and even have your face painted in a traditional style. They also have traditional wedding outfits that you can try on for pictures. The show is in two... More
