Simply put, I had such an amazing time. To try and leave for review for something that was so spiritually moving and in many ways, life changing, seems unfair as the experience itself was practically indescribable. The whole process never felt like I was in a school or consciously learning at any point. It felt really organic and very much... More

I had the privilege to be the first student to benefit from the new 'Gurukulam' programme offered by Yogi-Nomad in Nepal. Practising yoga for several years, I enrolled in this programme looking for its genuine spirit and thus means to go beyond my physical asana practice, aspirations my yoga studio in Hong Kong was unable to fully fulfil. But what... More

I left early because a very odd intervention of my 'teachers' based on what they thought was a lack of commitment and presence in meditation and a few mistakes in my Sanskrit spelling, and one mistaken posture in my teaching syllabus. I took it very personally but realized it was more to do about them then it had to do... More

Dear Veggy 8008 / Vanessa, Thanks for sharing your point of view. Of course it is disappointing to see that despite the time you have not been able to see beyond your original vision. I can only hope that with time you will get a chance to see the other side and in the process be less bitter about what... More

I remember myself sitting in a plane to kathmandu in april 2012. I was pretty nervous because it was my first travel to a non - europe county, all by my self and for a quite long time. I was 19 back then and I have never been more than three weeks away from home. Anyways, I can still recall... More

I can say I did not leave this training the same person. What attracted me to it was the understanding that there is so much more to Yoga than just the physical practice, and we dove into all the aspects of Yoga. I left this training feeling like family and knowing that my own personal understanding and practice of Yoga... More

The yoga teacher training with Yogi Nomad has been to me the kind of experience that stays in your heart forever. It is a very deep and true approach to yoga in all of its forms, very complete, and nicely interlaced with thai massage. Today, I teach yoga almost everyday in Mexico, and there is not one single class in... More
