The National Museum exhibits in Chhauni, Kathmandu. Its collection displayed is simple, is Great, is refined in numbers, shapes and diversity. History of each piece is explained in English. This place is a must see.

The history and ancient art of Nepal are well preserved here. We can enjoy then just by looking at it. It just takes minutes to reach there from Thamel and place is good to hang out.

We are visit The National Museum in Kathmandu. interested in Nepal's history and cultural heritage. also houses an old used battered car belonging to the king of Nepal.

nice display of antiques and historical stuff of nepal. it is the first original museum of nepal, also houses an old used battered car belonging to the king of nepal.

I would recommend the national museum in Pathan for those interested in Nepal's history and cultural heritage. The museum also has a fantastic Buddhist art gallery.

Arts, culture, religious and natural artifacts that help explain Nepal. Worth a visit if you're in need of something organized to do for a day. Very easy to couple with a visit to the Military History museum.

The National Museum in Patan is a magnificent small concentrated space displaying a number of historically and artistically important and beautiful pieces. And It has a wonderful outdoor restaurant in the center of it.

According to official website, entry fee for tourist is Rs. 150 (Foreign Countries) and Rs. 50 for (SAARC Countries).
