The whole area is under reconstruction from the earthquake. It will be painstaking effort. However it is still very lively and worthwhile to visit.

Basantpur Tower is one of the many Durbar squares you can find across Kathmandu. Nice architecture and art

The museum in the complex is worth a visit. The tower is being restored with help from the Chinese. If you love art and architecture, there's lots to see here.

Very well maintained but some parts damaged by the 2015 quake. A bit away from the City but surely worth a visit.

I did not find to see anything intreasting to see there, all were massed with the last eartquake and not renewvated. You need to pay entry fees for nothing

Kathmandu has lots of Temples and religious buildings. Basantapur Tower is one of them that you can find at the Durbar Square. Durbar Square is the heart of the city.
