The building are really different than Kathmandu, Had lunch in a cafe 4 flights up which gave great views and was cooler. There are some good shops here. Great photo opportunity's too.

Another part of Durbar Square that was badly damaged in the 2015 Earthquake - they need our money to help restore this wonderful Tower . I have nothing but admiration for the Nepali people . I would stress none too highly when visiting to engage...More

The tower was not to badly affected by the earthquake and definetly a place you must have seen. We got a lot of explaining by our guide and without it, it would be half as nice.

We went to see this in Durbar Square unfortunately it was badly damaged in the earthquake. They are working very hard to restore it

Sadly, this building is not open due to damage in the 2015 earthquake. It is closed for repairs. It costs Rs1000 (US$10) to enter the dubar complex but much of can't really be seen.

It is one of my favorite spots in Kathmandu and also probably in all of Nepal. I love sitting here and spending time with the local kids enjoying the local delicacies. There are tons of options you can choose for food. Newari food stalls nearby...More
