Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I've been to heritage spa several times and I feel like spending most of my time there. The environment is lovely and calm. I've experienced steam and sauna several times and i found it better than the experiences in previous spas. The chambers are comfortable and spacious. The entire Steam and Sauna block is well designed. And the massage at heritage definitely revitalizes you erasing all your fatigue.
If you are tired or tensed and you're looking for some comfort then Heritage Spa is definitely the place to be.
Just draw some time out and take a visit around.

I went there for the Herbal Message, and if I had to describe it in one word, it would definitely be:
'relaxing'.
It is somewhat isolated from the heavy traffic that hovers around Sanepa, which is definitely a plus point.
The rooms were definitely well designed and the design added that extra touch of serenity.
The massage itself was extremely relaxing and I could feel the strain from the muscles lowering.
Certainly a must have experience.
I recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

I never thought heritage spa will provide me such good therapeutic massage as expected. It went so relaxing. I was just back from the short trek and browsing through local magazine, then suddenly their ad posted urged me to visit this spa once. as i plunged, they offered me Basil tea in a nice small cup. staffs were friendly, they asked me whether i am allergic to their pure Camphor OIl or not, wihch i am not, before applying on to my body. And it was non-sticky and non-greasy too. i din't even have to take shower afterwards. 60mins ayurvedic massage was so relaxing.
i must recommend Heritage Spa. I am going for steam bath soon.

If you want a total package of relaxation, beauty, hospitality, and a blissful spa experience, this is the place. I showed up there totally burned out, and left refreshed. The staffs were warm and inviting, these people offer more than just a top notch luxury experience, they offer soul. Don't waste time looking at other places. This place is IT. I will come back again soon. There is something moving about experiencing a heavenly figure like Himalayas around you. We loved it. We can only praise them in the highest terms. Go there. You won't regret it.

It was a wonderful day out with the Heritage Spa. I never thought that Spa staffs would be so friendly and attentive.
It all started with a call. I called numerous other Spa's for pricing and service details. I did bit of bargain, i had to because some are really expensive and i had to ask few things like professional therapists, hygiene, parking, and so on. And you know, when you are in Kathmandu the price is not fixed for anything. So i bargained with few, asked over the phone about services in detail.
But Heritage Spa brought me up and made me impressed. The receptionist directly transferred my phone to a Spa Consultant and explained me very clearly and recommended me some good massage service, (You have to know the benefits of massage cause it will become more effective once you know how to take it). She also explain why i needed that massage. Wow, that was so caring. When i started to bargain they are bit strict. (only 5% huh), while other spas were giving up to 60% discount, (like in thamel).
But you know what Heritage is very affordable and must visit place. So i have to write this on TripAdvisor so that you get it what you want it.
I hope i said it well.

We were looking for a good dry sauna in Kathmandu and definately found it in Heritage spa. Been there now twice and will go back again for sure. I also had a ayurvedic body massage after the sauna which was a perfect combination. The massage was easily one of the best I ever had. All the staff members are very professional and nice. Highly recommend the Heritage spa.

There are only a few spas close to the Summit Hotel, and based on the website I decided to book massages for me and 5 friends at Heritage. One of my friends had never experienced a professional massage before, so the stakes were high. Heritage delivered on all accounts. Reena was a great host with perfect English and a great personality. The prices were very reasonable, and the service paralleled spas in the states. I don't know when I'll be back in Kathmandu, but when I am I'll be visiting Heritage again.

Clean, cheap and quite. I tried deep tissue massage and I felt the benefits for the days to come. For those who live in lalitpur is worth a try.

After a to weeks trekking Tour me and my girlfriend went to heritage spa and had very relaxing hours there. We had the trekking package but changed a few things, like mentioned on the Homepage the package can be customized easily. It was a very Good Massage and hair Treatment for us and a comfortable atmosphere!

Writing a review for Heritage Spa feels like writing a promo: UNRIVALLED Price/quality ratio !!
During my google for a good deep tissue massage, I am not easily convinced. As a frequent international traveller, I know a five star hotel with a five star spa is not a guarantee for a five star massage. Sometimes even the opposite. And feeling is believing!
The CIDESCO certification and the fact that the owner, miss Reena, is training her own staff, made me convince to choose for Heritage Spa in Patan/Lalitpur.
And wow, they live up the high expectations in every aspect!
• Excellent Management with employee-friendly working-conditions
• Entire staff is very genuinely kind, professional, skilful and offer excellent quality of service
• Very fair prices (no need to pay the so-called 5*) for high quality services
• They use fabulous homemade Sandalwood oil
I really love this Spa, as a frequent KTM-hub-visitor I will arrange my schedule, to be sure to have a minimum of 1 visit of 2 hours by arrival and departure!
