Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Thank you so much for such an awesome experience and for helping me to achieve one of my ultimate bucket list goals, reaching Everest Base Camp!
We initially met with the friendly staff of Himalayan Steps and their trekking guide when we arrived in Kathmandu city and after a nights stay we flew to Lukla. Namche Bazaar was a pretty cool mountain town we stayed at to acclimatise before going all the way to EBC.
I will definitely store these memories for life and cannot wait to go on another adventure like this again. Superb!

I was a bit hesitant at first on deciding which trekking company to go with, however my friend recommended Himalayan Steps as she went with them to EBC before. In the early stages we were emailing their team back and forth and they were so helpful to answer any questions we had and as a result we were well prepared in advance before our hike.
The landscapes out there were so vast and incredible! The tea houses we stayed at added a little touch of local tradition, we got to meet some of the sherpas too!Â
I would say that this has to be one of the best experiences of my life and the service we received made this trip so much more worthwhile! Highly recommended!

I recently got back from Annapurna Base Camp and to my delight it was an unreal adventure! There were a group of us and we started off with a fun city tour around Kathmandu taking in some of the most iconic sights before driving together to Pokhara.
From there we started trekking towards Ghorepani Poon Hill which was beautiful. Our trekking guide was so nice and friendly and he really went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience.
Cannot recommend Himalayan Steps enough, keep rocking!

I was limited on the time I had available whilst in Nepal and decided to go on a short trek in Pokhara and towards Poon Hill. It really is a beautiful part of the Himalayas and I would definitely recommend the service I received with Himalayan Steps and the overall trekking experience. Thanks so much!

My trip to Everest Base Camp was perfectly organised by the team from Himalayan Steps. I have now made some really great friends and have some long lasting memories. This is a trek that I would recommend to anyone if you want a decent challenge and an awesome adventure.
We were initially picked up from Kathmandu airport by one of their friendly staff members where they then took us to our hotel and we had a preparation briefing before flying to Lukla the next day.
The trip itself was superbly organised and the service we received was very impressive. I am thinking to come back again in the near future and maybe try the Gokyo Lakes or Poon Hill trek or something different. Highly recommended!

Himalayan Steps provided me with an affordable trip to Everest Base Camp via Kala Pathar and it was really a once in a lifetime opportunity. Overall they did not disappoint! We were really really excited in the lead up to this trek and did lots of preparation, the overall experience lived up to my expectations and was brilliant.
We had an awesome guide who went out of his way to be friendly and take us to all the best spots along the trail. They were very flexible as well when we wanted to extend our trip slightly.Â
My hike started from Lukla airport through to Namche Bazaar where the first bit of civilisation was, then we went all the way to Everest Base Camp for a sunrise tour the next day to Kala Pathar which was well worth the extra effort. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience and making this the best possible trip!

Having just come back from trekking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal with Himalayan Steps, I can definitely say that it was one of the most amazing things I have ever conquered, it was a great challenge at times but so worth the extra effort of going there.
The mountains in these regions were mind-blowing and fascinating to see. Our trekking guide was the best! The porters were so supportive too. The service we received was second to none, really awesome.
If you want excellent service and unique adventure then Himalayan Steps and EBC are your go to! Thanks so much!

We had the most amazing trip to Everest Base Camp, finally made it there which was something that myself and a group of friends had been talking about for a long time.
The service we received was fantastic and their friendly staff made such a difference.
We were assigned our guide which we met in Kathmandu then flew to Lukla together.
The scenery along the trail was incredible. We stayed in various teahouse places which made the experience very authentic, unique an fun.
The culture and friendliness of the people is definitely something that will stick with you.
Loved every minute of the experience and I definitely recommend Himalayan Steps and their team!

With a group of friends we trekked to Everest Base Camp and it was an outstanding experience. So glad to have shared the trip with a close group pf mates as we could support each other when things got a little challenging.
We started in Kathmandu where we were greeted by the friendly staff from Himalayan Steps, all of us went through an initial presentation to discuss the up and coming trek itinerary and safety talks. From there we met with our guide and flew to Lukla which was a fun plane journey!
We stopped off at nacho Bazaar at first and then stayed in several guesthouses until we reached EBC.
The Nepalese people were so friendly and our guide made us laugh a lot. Once we finally got back to Kathmandu we had a enjoyable farewell dinner.
Amazing service and experience!!

I was a little short on time so I decide to go ahead with a trek to Poon Hill via Pokhara. We started in Kathmandu where we did some really pleasant sightseeing across the city, the guide was friendly and well organised and we had a private car that took us around.
From there we went to Pokhara where we started our trek to Poon Hill. What a beautiful sight! Once we finally made it we were spoilt with some great views!
All in All Himlayan Steps is a great company which organised everything from start to finish perfectly! Thanks
