Several times I came across this river because it was located almost in every road that we stopped by. During the early morning, this river also had foggy cloud, maybe because it was winter season and it felt so cold. But the view was totally worth to see, greenery on each sides to refresh your eyes.

Nepal as usual provides another great outdoor adventure spot, with this wonderful river perfect for white water rafting. Now you can't just turn up at the river and expect to find a white water rafting company, but if you do book on this river you'll have a great time. And how good a time you have will depend upon the... More

We visited this during our Nepal trip in December 2010. We saw this beautiful mountain river during our trip from Kathmandu to Pokhra. The Trishuli River which originates in Tibet is a trans-boundary river and is one of the major tributaries of the Narayani River basin in central Nepal. The Trishuli is named after the trishula of Lord Shiva. There is... More

The Trisuli river is believed to be originated when Lord Shiva stuck his trident on the ground. It is easily accesible from both Kathmandu and Pokhra. There are rafting facilities on this river as well.

I've never had a rafting's experience, so when I and my other four friends of mine arrived at the site where the rafting vould have to start, I was so excited that I couldn't wait a minute longer to sail the river. When everybody had put on the safety jacket, the commander trained us how to pull a good oar... More

The Trisuli is great for rafting as it is convenient to get to either from Pokhara or Kathmandu. The company I went with was very professional and properly equipped. The rapids are named, Twin Rock, Ladies Delight, Upset, Upset II, Surprise, etc. The company has a very nice resort at the ending place, with baths and lunch served. I had... More

Driving from Lumbini to Kathmandu we followed the river Trisuli, which is fantastic and great to watch true indian life going about its business. There are several sites for adventure trips, such as rafting which have not yet become too touristy. there are some spectacular bridges and well worth stopping at th conflunce f Marsyandi and Trisuli rivers at Mugling.

I had rafting in Trisuli River couple of times and it's always amazing. Whenever I go to Pokhara I use to have 2/3 hours rafting in Trisuli to fresh my mind. The river is in very easy access which is very near from Kathmandu. If you are going to Pokhara and Chitwan then again the river is on the way.... More
