If one travels with Kids, this place is recommended as there are many wild animals and boars and some unknown species. It was not so interesting for me as I have been to many other National Parks.

Closest national park from Thimphu, accessible from Thimphu by car within 1 hour. The park holds good variety of wildlife such as Himalayan Monal, Satyr Tragopan and Goral.

This is a very beautiful and gorgeous park absolutely without any tourists. The whole area is vast and very serene. Lot of birds everywhere.

So beautiful to drive through ...but even better to get off the road to walk through the forest. Our Wind Horse Tour guides started us birding. Flowers, butterflies, birds everywhere.
