It's on the top of one of the hights Kampala hills so you can see the city below you, it's a nice cathedral it's big and beautiful

...and different. Same choir, but drumming! Aside from that, the inside is very plain. At least they didn't require money to go inside like the Anglican church (Namirembe)! It was nice to walk through, although it was during mass so we didn't do much.

This is a jewel, and a must-see. Come during a service -- the singing and bongos must be heard, not described.

As a Roman Catholic, this is both spiritually nourishing as it is historically astonishing. Its decades and decades old yet has glorious architectural aspects that will leave you in awe.

Its truly a cathedral, the sitting rows are well mapped out ,the sound systems very good and church is very clean. A spectacular sight to worship God in complete serenity.

Besides the other religious buildings, like the Anglican Namirembe Cathedral, the Bahai Temple, the Sikh and Hindu temples and of course the national mosque should a visit to Rubaga be part of every city tour.

Rubaga cathedral is a very important place to the catholic community in Uganda.
