A very dedicated guide made a lot of our visit to this rather run down site. However it was very interesting to learn about the Bugandans and their royals.

Here you get to learn a brief history of Buganda Kingdom and Uganda as a whole. It is unfortunate that some of it was incinerated by unknown assailants,, however, there is much to learn about the kingdom

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. Despite the site being under renovation, our guide took us round and explained in great detail the significance of this site. If you have an hour or 2 i suggest you visit.

Went with a friend and it was a very interesting experience. We had to get wraps to cover outselves as we were wearing pants. Our guide was very helpful.
