No hassle but just manic, hot, crowded and full of rubbish both on the stalls and on the ground. There are no rules of the road for traffic other than pedestrians should get out of the way!

The Grand Marche is an expansive market covering several blocks. There are lots of wares to choose from especially textile and leather items. It is one of the places one should visit while in Lome.
