We got a lot of beautiful things in this market. They had everything. You just walk around and if you spot what you like you price it. It's a fun experience. It's.like.any market in Africa but less rowdy than some I've been to

This is quintessential Togolese capital at its best. The throng of people selling and buying everything from food to household goods is a sight to behold. Locals carrying incredible loads a top their heads, mothers with babies strapped on to the backs, cars honking, people...More

Like street markets the world over. Stall after stall of clothes, shoes, belts all the usual stuff over several streets. It is a place packed with people, both local shoppers and hustlers trying to sell something from underwear to key rings. Just be aware there...More

Nice market with lotts of souvenirs. There is a "black market" there that offers more special souvenirs. We ended up there by asking for old traditional masks. Should you get there bargain hard!! (We bought some stuff for 1/5 of their start price)

This is a wonderful, lively market set along streets selling anything and everything. The colours are wonderful, people selling food, women carrying goods on their heads, traffic here and there to avoid. BEWARE ONLY take photographs with permission. Local people can quite rightly take umbrage...More

Such fun to explore this lively, colorful West African market. The first day our driver led the way while we looked at the offerings. Later we returned on our own, bargained hard for two masks, and left with happy memories. Spend a few hours exploring...More

This is a must see. This is sometimes chaotic - but still functioning. This is a really good opportunity to experience a market not yet turned touristic. To see all the women carrying stuff on their heads, babies on their back is beautiful and true....More
