This was a stop on our guided tour with Gate 1, and I am so glad they included it. We didn't have time to see the village, but the singing and dancing were wonderful. They choose people from the audience to dance with them, and I thought, "oh, no, tacky tourist ploy...don't pick me!". They didn't, but chose the two... More

We arrived in the village about 11am and straight watching the dance/singing performance which is really energetic and nice. These people really have amazing voice. After that performance, Paul the guide took us for a walk in the village and told us the history and the culture of the village residents, really interesting. After that we went to the restaurant... The village was quite interesting. Visiting the place is totally worth the money. The village offers a guided tour as well as cultural dance. Optional walk to the waterfalls is possible.

We visited, not really knowing what to expect, and overall found it to be worth the stop to learn a little more about the Swazi culture and history. For everything we did, we were probably there less than three hours. When we arrived (after paying at the gate on the way in) we were greeted by a young man who... More

Swazi Cultural Village was one of the most interesting place I have ever visit. I traveled to more than 50 countries, but this location is unique. Heritage village, local in traditional dress, great show (dance, music and and ). You will not see like this not even in Africa.

Despite torrential rain, the village put on a great show of native dancing. The costumes were authentic, the dancers seemed to be having a great time, and the photo opportunities were perfect. There is a beautiful waterfall on the grounds of the reserve which can visit as well.
