We loved this university. We got to sit in on a lecture from the Ambassador from Italy. We met a lot of the students, they were really nice. The library is spectacular. And the blue monkeys will drink sodas, very funny. But you need to arrange a visit ahead of time, so contact the university a few days ahead. It... More

A very nice building since the English era and very well maintained inside and outside. It's a place that you could visit during your presence in Khartoum.

It's the oldest and the biggest university in Sudan . The main campus in Aljama'a street was build during the British colonisation so the building are nice . There is active student life in this huge area . If you know someone who studies there you can arrange a visit and enjoy your coffee in the Almain street .

The gate to the University of Khartoum holds great promise for a lovely campus. The buildings date back to the British period. Unfortunately, no amount of pleading would convince the guard at the gate that we should be allowed to enter and look around. Even a picture of the gate had to be taken furtively. As often happens in Khartoum,... More

I went to the university of Khartoum on a daily basis. What I really liked about the university is the monkeys. Yes, the university hosts a large community of monkeys, they are free out there and are so cute and they have green areas to gather and play in. The monkeys show up in the afternoon and live on the... More

I had studied there and graduated 14 years ago and till now craving to walk through the main road and smell the aroma of its trees. Khartoum University is one of the famous place you shall visit when you come to Khartoum, it was one of the British legacy in Sudan.
