They were making some maintenance works when we were there but also if it had been finished: it’s rather a park to walk through than to stay for a picnic.

One can see this use to be a stunning park however it has not been up kept but that might just be because of lack water. You not missing anything if you don't visit

The park is in Windhoek and has a small restaurant that offers good food and a lovely vibe. The park itself can be crowded and offers shade and areas to sit and relax

The park is a bit small and crowded especially at lunchtime but is still a great a great place to chill, for meeting people and to just sit around and relax from your busy day.

We walked through the park once and found it quite dirty and sleezey. i would not recommend women to walk through here.

While it appears a bit shabby, the park seems to be having sidewalks upgraded. If the city continues, it will be a lovely place. The highlight is the German War Memorial.

Needed to take some time off to consider odd key issues. Decided to take a walk and strolled through the Park. Was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the time.

Don't make a special trip to see this, but if in centre of town you could check to see if the make over has been completed yet! Some very old bones had been discovered here but now all relocated to Museum. No where very nice...More

Has some nice memorial monuments. The rest of the park is nothing special. The lunch location for the people working in the buildings around, it seemed.
