The church was closed so no way to go inside. This was one of the very few churches we saw in Windhoek.

This is one of the most famous buildings in Windhoek and well worth a short visit. A look around the interior will give you valuable insight into the colonial history of Namibia and it is refreshing to see that there has not been an attempt...More

A nice walk to it,and a nice surprise, since we were not looking for it,but "accidentaly found it". Inside a simple, not bad looking interior, with soms references go the past. Not bad to see it,but you didn't miss the world if you didn't see it.

This church offers in the heart of Windhoek a trully beautiful and nice ambiance of a German church. It offers even a weekly mass service in German. Worth to visit.

This is not only nice building, no here is a real living community of active Christians. So good to notice that these people stand their ground.

This is probably the best known landmark in Windhoek. It's a nice looking church in the middle of a roundabout. You can park next to the church to visit, or just cross the roundabout and walk there.

I don't really know why this is place worth visiting in Windhoek, but we went off the back of tripadvisor reviews. As far as churches go, it is distinctly average and not worth taking a photo of. The memorial inside is historically significant so worth...More

We found the church peaceful but little to keep your attention after a few visits. We also visited the liberation museum.

While stopping over in Windhoek we visited the Christuskirche. The clock was on time and the stained glass windows absolutely magnificent. Just a pity that there were no recordings of the organ or a decent booklet.

There also a restaurant on the top floor of the museum, just opposite the church. The view from the restaurant is great.

You can visit the church free of charge, but a donation is appreciated.
