We visited this reserve via a 2 night tour with "Tok Tokkie Trails" on our Honeymoon. The scenery was spectacular as the tour hosted by the Tok Tokkie was excellent (food, camping, dinner, drinks, etc. - all amazing).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at NamibRand. The staff was very friendly and our guide very knowledgeable. The food was so yummie that we couldn't stop eating and almost rolled to our tents.

Where you get in, is where you get out. It is a tour. No way to do it differently in my opinion

I am sorry not being in a position to answer your question..... You will have to go directly on Google and check the offers you can find. There are camping places but not many. I didn't camp when I visited NamibRand !
