We came here during midweek and had a lovely experience. We paid 80.00R per person plus 10.00R for the car as an entrance fee. It's a 10km drive to the viewpoint and is suitable for all vehicles. The views are stunning and are worth seeing...More

It is hard not use superlatives when describing the amazing landscapes of Namibia. I would have given the Fish River Canyon the highest mark, but when you have seen the Grand Canyon, you could surmise right away that the Fish River is missing the golden/orange...More

You don't expect to find one of the world's biggest canyons in this part of the world. The long dusty drive reveals a massive winding valley in the earth's crust where millions of years of erosion has worn away. Far below (more visible than the...More

This would rank excellent save for the very limited information leaflets which don't even include a map. One has to memorise the map in the office. That with the lack of road signage makes it very easy to miss some good viewpoints. There are good...More

It's nice to know that this beautiful area is remaining unspoilt due to being a national park. The roads are rough, - hard on vehicles as mostly untarred . Nice place for walks , but you need decent footwear. Enjoy the scenery . Interesting information...More

I enjoyed great MTB rides in the Hobas and Ais-Ais areas of the park. The roads and tracks are a little bit corrugated, so a soft-tail bike is an advantage, but the roads are quiet, the sky is wide and there is peace and quiet...More

We were looking forward to the Fish River Canyon as one of the highlights on our four-country tour of Southern Africa, but it fell short of expectations. The comparison with the Grand Canyon is inevitable, but it fell far, far short. We drove from the...More
