Well maintained and quiet place to spend good time with family. If you go during weekends it mostly congested with wedding teams taking photos. Also a very large colony of bats are resident in some of the trees.

This garden is not very big, but it nice to have a stroll and a look to the different tree species. Those we planted the trees at the end of the 19th century could not enjoy the trees, as I did, now they are fully...More

Definitely worth a visit for the loud squaking bats in the trees ! It is calm and tranquil here and scenic with a koi pond, various trees including mango trees and tamarind trees, a visitor center and the cafe. There are benches to relax on...More

Good place to relax for a few minutes, under the shade of a tree. Wish I had more time here to explore the garden.

We passed by this public park while walking in the old city. Nice place to rest and relax and maybe pose for some pictures with lovely green trees around. We also saw many bats flying there during morning

Another disappointment on our walk around the city, this lovely garden was closed up with every gate chained and padlocked. From what we could see through the railings, it looked beautiful. If only we could have gotten inside. :(

This public garden is well-organized with some beautiful plant and tree species. It is also fairly quiet compared to the neighboring side streets, and has a security detail who walks around to ensure safety. A nice place to collect your thoughts for a while in...More

After many years of neglect and degradation the garden is back. Major works and money were spent and it is a nice spot to find peace and quiet. Watch out for pretty thieves.

Here, one can appreciate a bit of a pause among city life. The layout of the Tunduru Gardens is quite lovely. It was fun to identify different trees, including Almond Trees, Flame Trees and Frangipani Trees. Fortunately for me, I visited when the frangipani were...More
