We had a taxi ride around Port Louis and our driver took us to Fort Adelaide. What a great viewing point, you can see for miles. We saw the race track which is apparently the oldest in the world, the harbour and the mountains around...More

One can visit this place to know history + also can see Mauritius from top. Also some of the view from very top of the Citadel Fort Adelaide are really photogenic.

Worth going not so much for the citadel but the views as located very high up on Port Louis. Can see all sides of the city including the sea and the racecourse. Excellent for panoramic pictures.

The fort was nice. That's all. Do not expect too much. However the view of Port Louis and the harbour is good. There is no exposition or nothing alike but two canons. My guess is that they were rebuilding it.

it is not so good fort when compared to indian forts so as an indian, it is just a boring place and nothing much to see.
