If you love horse racing, it is a must you go as it is only horse track in the island. You have plenty of food stores but beware, secure your wallet or smartphone and jewelries as pick-pockets are common.

Our friends bought a deal to a day in a VIP lounge at the race track. A fantastic experience with free drinks and snacks plus our own private betting opportunity. Of course we gambled and we lost some and we won some

Great way to see a different side of Mauritius. You have an opportunity to see Mauritius as it was a long time ago. People dress up in hats and are betting left and right. You don't have to bet a lot to be a part...More

This is the oldest racetrack in the Southern Hemisphere and is heavily steeped in its history and tradition. Even if horse racing is not your thing, it's worth checking out the locals going nuts, cheering their horses to the finishing line. It does not need...More

As far as I am aware race days are every Saturday. If the weather is hot make sure you go in the VIP as there is virtually no shade in the middle of the course(plus you are really well looked after by Jacques and the team).
