Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our taxi driver told about the factory and shop and asked if we wanted to visit. It's free. We were shown around the factory, not a large place with a great output. We saw the process which was interesting and the tea plantation is elsewhere on the island. We were taken to the tea shop where we sat and were served samples of the different blends. We then had a choice to purchase any of the tea if we wanted to. There was no pressure which is unusual in these places. We did make a small purchase and discovered that they do mail order if we required to make any purchases in the future. It was all very nice. Recommended.

An interesting place for its museum part. You absolutely must take the time necessary for the visit even if you are rushed to get to the tasting. The tasting is also interesting in its Chinese protocol.
Afterwards you should know that the tea sold there is very expensive. For a consumer like me this price is not justified. Mauritian teas like Bois Chéri, Corson or Chartreuse are very good and available in supermarkets on the island.

Frankly, in our review, this visit is not worth it.
Normally a visit to a museum that is done at lightning speed to get you to the tea ceremony as soon as possible.
Tasting and very fast presentation.
The staff is surely trained in sales force methods!
In addition, I drink quality tea every day in France and I really have not found anything exceptional about it that is really expensive.
We really do not recommend this visit.

Great time being shown around by Jessica and she explained all the process and then took us through a tea ceremony and the black tea was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed my time

Hi. Does anybody have a website or a contact for making an order online? We visited earlier in the year and now want to purchase more of the tea. Thank you
