Turtles! Nesting turtles! DO you need another reason to go? The beach has no facilities but you'll probably be there with a guide or group, so no worries. Just see the turtles! Avoid white light and be patient. Alao, the sand is silky smooth.

Great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Libreville. Excellent views of the city. Great beaches and clean ocean water for bathing. I saw an elephant which is rare.

Having visited a couple of beaches in Libreville, my husband and I were excited at the prospect of a quieter/cleaner prospect. We went to Pointe Denis on a Sunday, which is the most popular day of the week for people to visit. We took a...More

Pointe Denise is a must do in Libreville, Gabon... who wouldn't enjoy miles of white sand on a rather clean and beautiful island. Tourists should book small water taxi to reach there. It takes about half an hour to reach there. Life vests are provided...More

We went to the beach just to change with friends. It was a sunny day. Water was warm. As we were walking along the beach, the other side of where we were having fun,we found people who were finish a catch a big fish.

The first impression I got was that the Gabonese aren't much of beach-goers. Miles of pristine beaches, and not a soul in sight. Literally had the run of the place ask to myself. Unfortunately, there aren't very many public conveniences, nor are there any good...More

The beach is very quiet and since it is not all that easy to get to it is pretty deserted. But the beach itself is lovely and it is nice not to have to deal with tourists etc.
