Small island in front of Luanda. Its just like a caribe paradise. the small trip by boat is not expensive and the bars and restaurants in front of the beach are good. really recommend "Roça das Mangueiras". Small wonderfull resort.

From the time that the Portuguese colonization settled in Luanda the island became synonymous with the continent escape, a true oasis even the bay doors. Full of coconut trees that complete the look of beautiful beaches and a wide range of restaurant and café is a great choice for those who want to escape the stress and chaos of the... More

The Mussulo penisula is a small paradise 20 mins away from Luanda. It offers several nice resorts, beautiful beaches, really the perfect get-a-away during the weekend.

As there is no other better option in the city of Luanda, Mussulo is one of the best places to visit. There are a lot of restaurants and beaches, however the food in restaurant is not value-for-money.

Wonderful beaches. Many places for day use and motels for a wonderful weekend. great ocean and amazing sun. went several times and had great times there. lots of restaurants and take away outlets. you can take your car to the ocean where you can take a boat to the beaches. also, there are free beaches with no facilities.

We went to the island for a All White New Years Eve celebrations, the island is a short boat trip away from the city. It was a great experience to view this place.

10 minutes on a boat takes you to a nice island, where you can spend a day swimming, sunbathing or having bbq lunch/dinner of fresh fish. Boat ride costs 10 us$ one way. If you go further into the island, you can see how local people live. Very interesting day away from Luanda.

A restful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Luanda. Bar Sulu is an especially chilled spot.
