Lake Chivero Game Park is a hidden gem! We hired a car from Harare and drove through the park ourselves in an ordinary car. Some of the roads are poor and only just passable in an ordinary car, and some I wouldn't attempt; however it...More

Great place to go and see some game and if it is the rainy season, get stuck in mud. Very fun driving and if you are lucky you'll see the rhinos.

Lake Chivero impresses me every time I visit. I was first here in 2006 and have been coming back ever since. The wildlife and nature here can be enjoyed for hours!

It is beautiful but the facilities could be much better and maintenance is not done. We enjoyed being out on the lake.

I believe Jonnyid is correct, around $5/person. Well worth it. Having a braii is totally possible but bring your own chairs/tables as there are not any developed spots, but you will find nice places along the lake to set... More
