If your in Dar for work or holiday and realize the beaches are not very good take a trip out to Bongoyo. You can catch the boat at the slipway and have a great day. Food and beverages are available to you can pack light....More

The earliest boat is 9.30am and the last boat depending on the number of people on the island usually between 4.30pm and 5pm

Yes there is a Ferry to the Island and you just turn up about 20 minutes to half an hour before the time and get your ticket.
