The Zoo is quite far from DAR city center and half of the road is very rough. The fee is very nominal. You can see all African animals except Elephants and Cape Buffaloes. Not recommended for elder people who cannot walk longer as the park...More

Its a well organised place with various activities and is good for people who can't go for safaris because the place has all kinds of animals, nature and even aquariums

This zoo is located around 30-40 Kms from City Center. You can visit this place just for an experience if you cant go for safari in Tanzania.

Its a big Zoo with full of Wild and Tamed animals. The food was very tasty in a clean restaurant . There's also beautiful area for children, play ground,swimming pool with trained guards.

We enjoyed the outing. The road was not in that good condition, but we made it. The location is good and the plans for the future seems to be in place for more entertainment. The animals are in good health and the cages are clean....More

Don't remember exactly but it was around 4000 TSH or 6000 TSH i.e less than 3 USD.

It's quite a way from the city centre on a very bad road. You also need to catch the ferry back, so plan accordingly. To be honest, it's not really worth the effort to get there

I can't remember exactly but if it was US $8 for Foreigners locals were something like TSH3,000 or TSH4,000. But don't hold me to it it was last August when I went.:)
