This zoo is located around 30-40 Kms from City Center. You can visit this place just for an experience if you cant go for safari in Tanzania.

We enjoyed the outing. The road was not in that good condition, but we made it. The location is good and the plans for the future seems to be in place for more entertainment. The animals are in good health and the cages are clean....More

No customer sevice and entry fees is too much for foreigners. No maps, no walking path and no proper signage. When I ask for a guide no service. Bit rundown. needs a lot of attention and improvement.....

It's quite a way from the city centre on a very bad road. You also need to catch the ferry back, so plan accordingly. To be honest, it's not really worth the effort to get there

I can't remember exactly but if it was US $8 for Foreigners locals were something like TSH3,000 or TSH4,000. But don't hold me to it it was last August when I went.:)
