But it is a poor imitation of what it once was. Some nice simple woodworks, much cheaper than at the tourist shops. No café as it used to have. It is situated next to Msasani shopping centre, if you want to go. The traffic is really bad if you travel from the city centre - in my opinion it was... More

I had planned to walk from my hotel Southern Sun, which isn't too far from Ohio Street. But the doorman told me that the building was no longer there. A pity as I was really looking forward to check out and pick up some local arts and crafts from here.

Visited this artist coop in search of a souvenir from Dar es Salaam. This place will not disappoint. There are literally thousands of beautiful TInga TInga paintings with their signature brightly colored animals decorated with lots of circles and dots.
