Went to the area a couple of times while in Dar. Decent outdoor resturants and no hassle souvineer shopping in indoor shopping. Some more unique finds. Adjacent outdoor shops are pretty standard tourist shops in dar.. Not a lot of interesting finds and be prepared...More

There is both an outside market crowded with vendors and some nice inside shops. There are some good safe restaurants for fair prices. Lovely at sunset! We have shopped and dined here every year beginning in 2015.

The hotel/shopping centre is the one place you have to visit when you get to Dar. It's serene..great ocean view. If you love the sunset..this it. Enjoyed a great evening at this place..even the busy shoppers couldn't take that away

There are regular boat trips to the 2 closest islands and diving trips to the local reefs, both from outside Slipway. No other destinations unless you want to just sail. Yacht club up the road - were sailing several types of... More
