It was nice to do day trip with our students. We appriciate Boker Adventures team for organizing the trip for our student. We enjoyed the trip as we saw amazing animals and the tour guide was friendly and gave us good explanation on the Lake momela. We recommend Boker Adventures for good safari.

We arrived and by 6:30 am we were seeing Giraffes, buffaloes and zebras. Though it doesn't have the cats like other parks the scenery and fauna is beautiful. A must day trip.

This small park north of Arusha includes Mt Meru (4566m - sometimes snows!) as well as Ngurdoto Crater and the multi-colored Momella Lakes. Walking is possible, but with a guide. Incredibly varied scenery and vegetation. Animals include occasional elephant (which we did not see), giraffe, zebra, buffalo, waterbuck and many different species of water birds, including lesser and greater flamingos.... More

First national park visited in north Tanzania. Most people go there to climb Meru mountain, we just went for Safari and walking safari. Walking one is relly good if all the rangers are so good and friendly as Herman was (no, no he was not German, he was 100% Tanzanian :)). You can see pretty many animals there (except cats,... More

I went there with a friend, we had a disagreement with the gatekeeper who wanted us to only pay using credit card and not in cash. It's about $50/person (extra 20,000 shillings/car) and the park isn't great. It's big enough but the signs aren't very leading, the map was totally off and we didn't see all the animals they claimed... More

We visited for my Granddaughters 3rd birthday. We loved it. Make sure you arrive early in the morning as it seems to be the best time to see the amazing animals here. If you do take your own car be sure its a large 4x4 as some of the terrain it rather rocky and bumpy to say the least. Also... More

There is plenty to recommend about this national park. Scenery wise there is Mount Meru, which towers over everything, Mount Kilimanjaro 60km away (though does get lost in the heat of the day), plains teeming with wildlife, forests, lakes, volcanic craters with spectacular views and viewpoints with some truly amazing views. We camped overnight - setting up camp in late... More

Visited from Arusha . Good day to spend viewing the different areas of the park. Did a walking safari to the falls with an armed ranger and had close up views of buffalo, zebras, giraffes, warthogs. Very informative tour of fauna and flora in the area. Drove through the park to fig arch, Ngurodoto Crater, Momella lakes and Little Serengeti... More

Arusha National Park is a safe and easy way to see some of the beautiful flora and fauna of the region. If you do not have a lot of time, go to this park with a guide and get a short introduction into African wildlife. You probably will not see lions, leopards or rhinos, but you will see many giraffe,... More
