Real find in the lower medina area. Pleasant reception area, cool for hot days. Plenty of photos, paintings giving a real insight into the relationship between USA and Morocco over so many years. Very much up and down stairs, a few signs would help. Paul...More

The important role of Morocco and the relationship with the US is explained with letters, documents and photographs. A beautiful building in itself with an amazing history. Well worth the visit.

It's not a large facility but has lot of history, artifacts, and stories in every corner. If you can get someone to give you a tour, even better. Really a community center, museum, study center, and cultural focus that shouldn't be passed up.

I traveled with some folks who DIDN'T marvel at the architecture, rugs, chandeliers and art work, and they didn't have a great time ... so I'm taking that into account. I loved it all.

Beautiful spot to visit in the middle of Tangier. The building is beautiful and the history behind it is really interesting.

Did not disappoint! Beautiful historic documents, the Paul Bowles rooms were neat, and the tiny models were fascinating. Carefully look at the details, including the lady on the mule. Wtf!? Kidding aside, it made me feel very patriotic and respectful of the long-standing relationship between...More

Dealing heavily with the international experience in Tangier I spent a wonderful 2hrs wandering lazily around the beautiful rooms of the former Consulate building. Worth visiting for the collection on Paul Bowles alone. The standout part for me was the amazing miniature armies displays of...More

It is probably not worth it for you to make the trip but it is certainly worthwhile to visit Tangiers!
