Very Impressive when you walk in - soon you realise its quite expensive and mostly odd knick knacks - which wasn't quite our kettle of fish (Zebra skin covered chairs / ostrich eggs etc... ). PS: To find it, its a few shops down from henna cafe (google maps is correct, trip advisor map is incorrect) - is a big... More

We spent 6 days in Marrakesh and each day haggling for something in the souks. Our riad owner had mentioned this shop to us on the first day so we decided to head back to compare the prices. He had mentioned you wouldn't need to haggle but I didn't believe it. He was right. The selection is huge and the... More

Absolutely stunning display of arts and crafts with a warm welcome of a mint tea. This is how I'd like the souks to look like, from A to Z - doesn't it say it all?

If you are looking for antiques (carpets, lamps, accessoires etc.), this is the place to go. Not that easy to find and google will not help you... But once you are in the shop you will find Alladdin's paradise. You will not be distressed by aggressive sellers and never ending explanations, but from very skilled advisors. Prices are fair and... The first task is to find the place! There is no sign on the door and the best way is actually to ask for directions, once you've got to the address. Once inside the shop you will find a profusion of stuff you don't usually see in the souks, and only see in fancy riads. Prepare your wallet if your... More

A real Alladin's cave, with rooom after room of carpets, pottery, furniture and every other beautiful if useless home-deco artifact

We stumbled upon this place purely by accident when we visited a year ago. The door was ajar, I was being nosey and poked my head in. As many other reviewers have mentioned, this is not like the souks, there's no pressure and all the staff are ridiculously helpful. We spent hours choosing our rug, we must've had 20 down... More

Definitely the most interesting store in Marrakech, it's like walking through a museum, there are floors and floors filled with items from all over Morocco and west Africa with a few from even China thrown in. It's a pleasant shopping experience, there's really no pressure, prices are reasonable really, you might be able to bargain on some stuff, but it's... More

Our small group of 10 artists made a stop here and we could have stayed an entire DAY and not seen a tenth of what was available! The store is what I imagine Aladdins Caves would look like - filled with exceptional exotic treasures and art. Everywhere I wandered, there were amazing and exquisite patterns, colors and style a la... More
