This is a must see. You get a test for the culture and heritage of Marrakesh and surrounding Atlas Mountains people. Lovely roof top terrace as well.

This museum shows photos from 1930s and on of Berber village life. Some simply striking photos displaying the breadth of people across Morocco.

We weren't necessarily planning to visit the museum but happened upon it and decided to take a look. It's a wonderful old Riad and it has some great photos. It also has silver negatives (pretty cool) and an old Movie that shows a photo expedition...More

This is the best museum in Marrakesh, very interesting pictures and documentary. If I go back to Marrakesh this is the one museum I would like to visit again.

The museum has a diverse collection of early photography taken mostly by European travelers to Morocco. It's an interesting opportunity to see images of Morocco's past through European eyes. The rooftop terrace and cafe is also really nice.

We enjoyed our visit, but not worth going out of your way. We did not feel that the exhibitions were really that differentiated or interesting.
