Although we did not travel by train - our Hotel was nearby and we were so impressed by the station exterior that we deliberately went inside to have a look around. What is disappointing is that from the train departures listed it does seem a station in need of more services and customers!!!!

This is a very big station with free wifi, an exchange place, multiple restaurants including McDonalds. I love how they maintained the same colour of the buildings even when designing this train station.

This is a small modern station, which is kept spotlessly clean. There is a McDonalds and a Kentucky Fried Chicken at the station. When we visited most of the trains were leaving for Casablanca.

The station looks amazing from both inside and outside. We used it to catch the train to Casablanca. Though people didn't speak much English, they did their best to understand what we were saying. The station is also central and has numerous fast food places including McDonalds and KFC (selling Chizza la Pizza!). When staying in Marakesh, it's probably convenient... More

A new train station that is clean, modern and very efficient. Not lots of platforms, so easily navigable and they have a very informative overhead timetable screen to keep you updated on any delays, which platform etc. Train fares are cheap and you can either purchase them from the counter in the station or if you want to be guaranteed... Modern and still Moroccan in style with a beautiful entry. The station is almost organized like an airport with separate ticket counters and security control before you get access to the platforms. Good connection with the major cities on the Atlantic coast. It is just over 3 km northwest from El Fna square.

This train station is wonderful with plenty of shops and fast food places to refresh travellers. Certainly one of the more organized train stations in Morocco. Lots of security present. Travelling by train in Morocco is a great way to get around - and stations like these make the experience that much more pleasant.

We were travelling from Marrakech to another city so we used the station. It is the nicest train station I have ever been in! It is beautifully designed and light and airy.
