A nice place to relax from the noise, air pollution and crowds. Re-charge your batteries, let you imagination wander off, listen to the little fountain wells. Re-balance.

Walking through the little ally ways and find this place was a surprise. We had tea and took lot and lots of photos, we even FaceTimed our daughters to show the turtles that were in the water. An extra special insight to this place was...More

These gardens have a great story and it is worth finding this beautiful respite in the Medina of Marrakech. It has places to sift, eat and drink. If I lived in Marrakech this would be a regular stop of mine.

Stopped at the Secret Garden which was very good. This huge traditional Riad with extensive grounds had been converted into two beautiful gardens which used very clever hydraulics to move water around. Excellent video on how this all worked, and Aziz explained how all the...More

I loved this garden. The restoration of this garden is exquisite, the water engineering alone is spectacular. The scented beds of rosemary and lavender are exquisite. This is a pleasant spot to enjoy a quiet moment in Marrakech

We got there at 5:35 only to find out that the place was closed. As this was our last day, we couldn't visit again, but I'm sure it was a missed opportunity.

Reasonably easy to find - especially if you use Google maps on a phone. No more than 600 metres/ 7 min walk from main square in Marrakech (Jemaa el-Fna). Start from the left side of square and head up Souk Laksour and then... More

Although we never saw any cats in the secret garden, there were loads of Cats in Marrakech, probably not a good place to go if you are that afraid of them.
