I knew I wanted to buy a rug in Morocco. When we entered we were welcomed and given tea and shown many beautiful rugs. There were too many to look at. The people in the shop were very helpful and knowledgable. The bargaining was easy...More

We wanted to find a nice view over the Medina and we were warmly welcomed by two guys. They didn't bother us for not buying anything. The house worth the visit! And we learnt interesting stuff about Marrocco and carpets.

It's a place most of us are brought to by our guides, which means i would have too grand expectations; the usual claims for cooperative/goodwill, the trick of first selecting the carpets for the entire group and then bargaining together on all of them, etc....More
