Amazing to see the intricate work in the doors, walls and woodwork. We were in Fes with our kids but did not bring them here so we could take our time taking pictures and getting the history.

As a school and not a mosque we were allowed to go in as non-muslims. Great to see an original, authentic mosque on the inside.

You only get to see the central courtyard but the architecture is amazing. And it's very cheap. Well worth looking at.

One of the two open Medersa's in Fes, we went in with a city guide early in the morning and it was almost empty, making for the best pictures.

While this may only be a small place to visit for 20 dirham it does offer a nice view of the art used to build and decorate this Islamic school.

Check out all the Mederssas in this country. There is something about each and every one of them that will leave you in the depths of the beauty that lay in front of your eyes.
