The medersa is a great place to visit. While a visit inside of the medersa was not possible during our stay in Fes, the reception area and wood work are very elaborate and unique.

Very beautiful plasterwork and tiles. If you only have time for one, go to Bou Inania, but this one is also nice and the entrance is only 10 or 20 Dh.

A Medersa is a school where the Koran is studied; the Attarin Medersa is the Medersa of the Spice Sellers and is accessed directly from a very busy, colorful, and noisy souk. Once inside, the Medersa visitors feel an oasis of calm. The walls are...More

We loves this medersa even more than the bigger one, Bou Inania. Just because it's even more detailled, even richer in decoration.

This isn't the biggest Madarasa of the lot. The others give you so much more to explore but what it lacks in size, it makes up in design and intricate details.

Nice to visit with architecture. Great photos to show. We have been there on friday when people go for pray. Nothing more to show.

A quick little stop near the tanneries. Costs 20dirham to get in. Honestly takes less than 10 minutes because it's really a courtyard and connected room. Nice tile work and architecture

There is surely at least one bigger medersa - not sure about the name but it's close to Bab Boujloud, with the same entrance fee (20 dh). But this one is still really nice, open from early in the morning, when you can escape here...More

Another beautiful well maintained quranschool with tiles, carvings and ornaments. Gives you also a little relaxation in the midst of the medina.

Although small it is filled with visual delights. The architecture is beautiful and the use of tiles, ceder wood and stucco walls combine to make it a place you want to see.
