It's a very big mosque and in the prays times it gets very packed. It has some beautiful architecture.

Great but there's no need to see it more than once. It's best to go in summer as morning is cold if you want to go there to pray. Always have a guide as you will get lost.

Not much to see as you cannot get inside. Appreciating the place from outside is all you can do. You can drive by the place and this is it.

This is interesting to see, especially if you are Spanish as this is the mosque in the Andalucian quarter of the medina. You can't enter but nice enough all the same. Nice to pass by.

This mosque was the symbolic counterpart to the Qarawiyyine in the Andalous quarter; in Fez's very early history, the Qarawiyyine and Andalous quarters were separate cities on opposite sides of the river, with their own walls. They were later joined into one city and the...More

I was a bit disappointed by this mosque. Unlike some others of the great mosques I've encountered, this one has only one portal - or so it seemed to me at least. This one is nice though, and nicely decorated. From afar when you can...More
