The Bab Boujloud is the Blue Gate that leads to the old Medina. Inside the gate lots of restaurants that tend to be cheaper than other parts of the Medina. And of the course the start of lots of shops etc.

For us this was the main point for going to the Medina, and finding our way back home. There are also most of the restaurants near it.

This is the main gate and a great landmark. Taxis can drop you off and pick you up there, which is a plus. It is one of the best looking gate and is iconic in Fez.

It was a busy gateway frequently used by locals and tourists alike. It looked new, must have been recently restored. Very beautiful gate. From the outside, one can use the gate and frame the minerat inside the medina to produce a very pleasing photo.
