It is a large commercial place when one can buy anything. Built during the 20th century it offers a good example of Moroccan ambience. Of course be prepared to negotiate prices

Welcome to casablanca, surely you can take a taxi from airoprt to the city, most taxis know habous and where about to do the shopping. If you wish you can call on us to arrange the best on your visite and time.

Sorry but I've only ever gone to Habous during the daytime. I'm assuming it is the same as the Medina though and things start closing around 8 or 9.
