It is probably the largest art deco complex I have ever seen in my life. Just imagine if all of those building being restore. It would be so grand.

I come here every so often for a look round. I generally don't buy anything, it's just for a change. I like it, but find it rather tame. There isn't any of the real hustle and bustle that I like so much in the Ancienne Medina. Just for information, no one really refers to this place as the "New Medina... More

Cafes, shops, friendly upscale Modern Morocco. This is where the upper class locals buy. Lots of men sitting, talking, sipping tea in the cafes. You can watch life go by too if you want.

The new Medina is way cleaner than the old one, but I did not find anything particular about it. It is just a typical average Moroccan shopping place.

A bit more for ordinary shoppers and less touristy, but is worth a look if you have time. Good for everyday products .

The new Medina is where the locals go to shop. Far less junk than at the old Medina. Beautiful rugs and carpets.

They call this the New Medina, however, it is like going back in history. This area is full of little side streets where street vendors are selling their wares and the air is is full of aromas of different spices and condiments. There is one particular area that seems to be full of greengrocers, I have never seen so many... More
