The place still stands strong, from 1914, it has enabled the economic development of the city and is always open to visits (You only need to find the guardian) !! To arrive at this point of view, you will have to be in shape. You'll have to climb more than 250 steps in order to reach the upper platform. But... More

Exuding rustic charm, this well-kept lighthouse is still in use today and is open to visitors wanting to ascend its classic marble spiral staircase and see the beautiful marble floor accentuated by the Seal of Solomon in... There's a nice view on the sea from here but frankly it's not really worth visiting because it's too far from the center of the city.

We went spontaneous on daytime to the lighthouse and asked around. We were only three people. So suddenly the guardian appeared. he was so friendly and led us up to the top. The phare is a must do in Casablanca. It was very close the Hassan the Second mosque. It is over a few centuries old but still stands strong. Once we were on top; we had a great view of the city as well as the sea. It is a nice stop to take great pictures.

The first thing why I was excited is to fulfill my long cherished desire to see a lighthouse from the place from where the light beam is thrown up to a few hundred kilometers into the deep sea. I was overwhelmed to see that here!! And the view around.....Wowwwww! Casablanca is discovered in a new dimension from the top of... More

I've been there several times but in daytime only, just leave that area after sunset, this area is not really protected at night time ,also there is no accessible parking there.
