This stately mosque, a fine example of pure Moroccan architecture, is the only one in the city that non-Muslims may visit.

As far as I can tell from reading my guidebook and also my tour guide, the Hassan II Mosque is probably the only place in Casablanca that worth a visit. It is mandatory to join a guided tour in order to go inside. The mosque...More

In a city with not all that much to offer most guide-book tourists this is probably the number one sight to put on your list. Easy to get to by taxi and if you are not allowed inside then you can have a pretty comprehensive...More

It is probably the most beautiful architecture you can find in Morocco therefore if you only have time to visit a single place, you should go here.

The scale of this was vast . As it is right on the coast many locals go here to catch a breeze. Most interesting was watching young local lads, who must have no fear, jump off the walls into the Atlantic swells. There is no...More

You don't real fathom the scale of the mosque until you walk up to it. Beautiful tile and arches. Site on the edge of the Atlantic . If in Casablanca a most stop.

Enjoyed the visit but the tour leader (in English) seemed not very motivated. The mosque is big but not really so much to see apart from the size. Still, worth visiting.

We had a great guided tour of this lovely mosque. The interior architecture is quite beautiful. I didn't realise how big this mosque is.

Must pay to get in and must take a guide. Mosque is impressive the ceiling opens as no AC and the mosque holds 25,000. Our guide was very poor. Read an Internet article on the mosque before going cause the guide provided just about nothing.

A stunning wonder of architecture, handcrafted in traditional Moroccan style in Allah's name. I have not felt quite so wowed by a building since I saw the Taj Mahal, not just for it's grandeur but also the sense of spirituality that it demands. It is...More

Hi, You can visit the Mosque only with a guided tour. I can't remember well but I daresay there are lockers or a cloakroom in the basement where you buy tickets. Sorry, I'm not sure about it. For the shoes they provide you a... More
