We turned up at the mosque and it was a little bit confusing. I got in as I am Muslim but the person letting me in said no non-Muslims allowed and this precluded my wife... even though I said she understands she can't come in with me and can go round to a female's entrance. Then when I finished praying... More

The mosque is enormous. Third largest in the world, beautiful architecture and set right on the edge of the Atlantic ocean. The Prayer Room holds around 25,000 men.

What a beautiful site. Packed with people. Amazing site on the ocean! The building had amazing colors and architecture. We walked from here to our hotel along the ocean (kind of) and it was fine.

A beautiful piece of architecture. Mesmerising to see the attention to detail. We hired a private driver and car and travelled over 3 hours from Marrakech but well worth visiting.

In my opinion among the top three grand mosques of Islam, sharing top honours with the Badshahi mosque in Lahore Pakistan, and the prophets mosque in Medina. Open to tourists and magnificent in architectural detail and quality of construction. Must see in Casablanca. It is a lively place with s hook children running around the exterior courts. Inside you need... More

One of the largest mosque in the world. You will love the architecture, ornamentation, and colorful tiles and glass. It has a nice little museum as well.

I did a bit of research about taking a tour of the Mosque, as I wasn't really sure what to expect. The Architecture is amazing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I had read that being female, I would have to have my head covered. But that was not the case. We did have to remove our shoes and they... More
