You need to go on a guided tour to see the mosque so make sure you check in advance as to the times for the day you want to go. The inside is beautiful. The tile work is amazing and the carved wood and plaster...More

This place has amazing architecture and is massive in size. We took the English speaking tour which consisted of at least 100 people. The guide presented some rather dry facts in a disengaged manner. The size of the group made it difficult to hear ....More

Eric view. Apparently has the tallest minaret in the world! Bring your selfie sticks to capture the entire beautiful mosque. There is a guide tour to this so remember to time your trip. Usually it’s 9am, 10am, 11am and 2pm. But on Fridays I think...More

Beautiful gigantic mosque on the water. We visited a few times on our trip. It's massive and very detailed. Seeing it glowing gold at sunset was amazing.

I heard some Americans saying they would not visit the mosque as they did not want to "support Islam" which struck me as very odd. Why come to Morocco at all, then? Regardless, there is nothing overly religious about the tour and the building is...More

This is amazing. The mosque is huge and beautifully decorated. Make sure to get on the "private" tours for a smaller group and good guide.

I believe I actually said "wow" aloud a few times. The square around the mosque is peaceful and quiet. I missed the tour the first day, so I went back the second day. Tours are only at 9, 10, 11 and 2pm. And they are...More

Hi, I am sorry. I truly do not know. But in the tour they said many times that the mosque was intended to be visited by all by the wish of the Morrocan King. There is a website that you can try to see : mosquee-hassan2

If you want a tour of the mosque, don't plan on a Friday visit. Friday is the sabbath day for Muslims.
